Our 25th anniversary

Still Celebrating Our Quarter Century

The President's Lead by Bill Signorelli, CPP

I'm enjoying the opportunity to visit and thank our customers, vendors, friends, family, and employees so much during our Security America 25th anniversary year.

Having three-time Super Bowl champion Troy Brown address over 125 SA clients and vendors at our 25th Anniversary Banquet at Embassy Suites in April was a real treat for everyone.   Troy spoke of his challenges, and how his personal and family values have guided him to success.  The elegant décor and the fantastic meal made a wonderful, festive setting for the evening.  I give many thanks to our banquet committee of Renee' Shaffer, Beverly Signorelli, Amber Asbury, and Diana Sole for putting on a great show.  Diana Sole, the President of Motion Masters, served as our eloquent Master of Ceremonies.  We had the privilege to introduce our Board of Advisors: Charlie Counts of Crown Graphics, Barry Ogrin of Charleston Department Stores, Jim Hupp of American Office Systems, Jim Sturgeon, Esq., and Dick Williams, CPA.  I have appreciated their unending support and candid guidance.  Also present were a dynamic group of West Virginia "movers and shakers", the Kanawha Valley Business Forum members and their wives.  They make me watch my "P's & Q's" as they know me too well.  A number of other contributors to our success including members of various Chambers' of Commerce, government agencies, personal & professional mentors, and banking establishments celebrated with us.  Discussing our "success environment", we recognized our vendors for bringing state-of-the-art products and services to us.  This enables SA to continually improve our service delivery to our clients.  The Sincerely Yours Answering Service, Ms. Eldina Kincaid, was honored as our "Longest Quality Vendor".  We recognized our longest staff members Renee' Shaffer and Vickie Acker.  I'm told both have earned Medals of Valor for their service.  Our clients are our reason for being.  We recognized The Huntington National Bank as our longest "win-win partner".  Bob Henson and Beverly Gunnoe accepted the award for Huntington.  I appreciated all of our client-partners that attended.  Wow, what an evening of warmth, friendship, and heartfelt gratitude,

Our Anniversary and Annual Founders Day Italian Picnic on June 2nd was truly an energized happening.  From the moment we started giving away door prizes, to the kids' mega slide, through some great pasta dishes, over to the horse shoe pits, around the face paintings, to the employee recognitions, dancing to the music of DJ Phil Chapman, to throwing in the water balloon toss, and balancing eggs on a spoon while running a 50-yard dash, we never slowed down.  I felt like I was in an action-packed Bruce Willis movie.  The meal, served by Steve and Missy Borst of Hospitality Fare, was savory and plentiful.  We honored Oather Parsons and Carl Wilkinson as our "Longest

Employees" a well deserved recognition for both.  And the lucky Ada Walker drove away to Myrtle Beach for a three-day vacation on us.  All and all it was a pleasurable and fun afternoon with true camaraderie felt by all in attendance. Don't miss this one next year!!   Our celebration continues.  Come join the fun with all of us a Security America!

SA Little Leaguers

In recent years, our great players have won The Charleston Central League Championship three times. Our Security America Little League team had a growth season this year showing lots of promise for 2008 under the helm of Managing Coach Brian Skinner. The team is young with only three twelve-year olds and two eleven-year olds. The team won a number of games at the end of the session as they became more consistent, and boasted some very good pitching efforts. The 2007 season is in the books, but Coach says they're already looking forward to next April, and another run for the championship.
