Chris Signorelli, CPP - President & CEO

Chris brings a wealth of experience to Security America along with his years of “growing up” with the company by working in the field and in the corporate office. He has both operations, sales and administrative experience at Security America as well as skills that are required for a minor league baseball team. His knowledge on the operations side will ensure you receive the best protection for the best value.  Chris also recently received his Certified Protection Professional (CPP) accreditation through ASIS International which is the highest security management credential in the world.

With more than 40 years of management experience in security, loss prevention and criminal justice, Security America’s founder and owner, Bill Signorelli, has provided highly successful security plans and programs for a wide variety of clients throughout a multi-state service area. His company has been solving security problems at plant, hospital, construction, drilling, mining and office sites since 1982.

He’s a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) , a distinction awarded by ASIS International (American Society for Industrial Security) and holds both a Master’s and a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice. Bill stays current in his field through professional workshops and seminars and his work has been recognized on the local, state and national level.

Prior to founding his own security company, Bill earned valuable experience as an officer in the Department of Corrections; as District Manager for a national security company and while serving in the U.S. Army Reserve Military Police.

Tina Campbell- Operations Manager

​Tina Campbell has been with Security America for over 6 years, and this will be her second promotion from previously being an Administrative Associate before being Payroll Administrator.  Tina has assisted all 3 Departments including working closely in Operations which included HR duties and scheduling as needed.

Jack Rinchich - Security Consultant / Field Inspector

Arnold has been with Security America over 17 years.  He previously was Director of Operations around 11 years.  He has also been in roles including security officer, site supervisor, and field supervisor.  Arnold is bringing his knowledge to the Administration but will also include Operations roles like mentoring and quality assurance visits.

In addition to being a board-certified safety professional (CSP) and a chaplain in the Cops for Christ organization, Jack is a former Marine, and a former Charleston (WV) city police officer. He has coordinated and provided dignitary protection for numerous governors, congressmen, senators,ambassadors and presidential candidates and a host of celebrities. He has worked closely with the U. S. Secret Service in providing security for many high level political figures including the Vice President of the United States. As an executive protection specialist, security consultant and criminal investigator, his input in security guard and safety practices is invaluable.

Most recently, he served as director of security and chief of campus police for the University of Charleston (WV). He also serves on an anti-terrorism task force with local and federal law enforcement agencies. He was appointed the  President of the National Association of Chiefs of Police and the American Police Hall of Fame after serving as their National Chaplain for 13 years. He continues to serve as their National President

Dr. Scott A. Hill - MS, CPP, CHPA

Scott is the Director of Safety/Security/Transportation as well as Chief Privacy Officer at King’s Daughters Health System in Ashland Kentucky.  Scott’s security program is one of only thirty one programs in the country (and one of the first) to be an “Accredited Program of Distinction” as sanctioned by the IAHSS. He is Board Certified in Security Management as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) as sanctioned by the American Society for Industrial Security, Senior Member of the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety, and Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA). Scott has served as Chairman and is the founder of the Kentucky Chapter of the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (KYIAHSS).  Scott received his Master’s degree in Loss Prevention and Safety from Eastern Kentucky University. Scott serves as a consultant and has also devised personal safety, emergency preparedness, and security seminars he has presented to churches, civic groups, hospitals, schools, and many other organizations.

Charles E. Smith, BSLEA

Charles E. Smith recently retired as the Corporate Director of Protective Services at OhioHealth, a position that he held for the past Twenty years. Chuck is a graduate of Youngstown State University and has served in public law enforcement and corporate security for the past forty four years.  He has been responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and directing programs, policies and procedures to maintain and enhance public safety and assets of patients, visitors and employees at several Central Ohio medical facilities. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Chuck served in the Vietnam conflict.  

Gary L. Forman, CPP, PCI, PPS, MBA, VAPPS

The former Director of NiSource Corporate Security was responsible for security programs and personnel across this 7 billion dollar corporation. He has been actively involved through the Partnership for Critical Infrastructure Security, the Oil and Natural Gas Security Coordinating Council (ONGSCC) and other industry groups as an advocate and representative of critical infrastructure industries. He one of the authors of “Security Compliance Guidelines” for Security America Operations in 2015. Because of his unique background in engineering, operations and business management as well as security, he has worked with NSA and NSS staff to provide information to the White House and to Congress.

William “Bill” Whyte

Bill has over forty years of experience in security and criminal justice, of which twenty years have been in management. He has spent his career using his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Master’s Degree in Psychological Services/Personnel – Public Administration toward better security management in corrections and security fields. His peers value his involvement in numerous workshops and seminars as well as professional presentations and publications guiding the future of security.

 

Mr. Whyte’s experience includes: Chairman of the Central West Virginia Chapter of the American Society of Industrial Security, 2000, Deputy Commissioner of the WV Department of Corrections – 1981-1997, Executive Vice President Security America, Charleston, WV – 1999 – 2000, Warden of the Huttonsville Correctional Center – 1977-1981, Diagnostician, West Virginia Corrections Inmate Intake Center, 1972-1977, Dean of Men, Davis & Elkins College, 1970-1972, Guest Instructor – West Virginia State Police Academy, 1978-1996, Fairmont State College, 1980-1982, Davis & Elkins College, 1973-1980, Criminal Justice Instructor – West Virginia State College, 1983- Present.
